So I finally bought a set of tow mirrors... and they gave me a set of double sided screws to put into the mirrors and have the bolt on the other side. Well these screws are 3 inches long... that seems a bit excessive to me... my concern is will I be able to shut my door without hitting anything?

Has anyone installed mirrors like these?

If they are aftermarket I would like to hear what you think of them after you have them installed.

So I got them installed. They are aftermarket by the company spider auto. I got hit in a parking lot and some kid dragged his damn ford mirror across mine and cracked the plastic and he gave me enough money to get tow mirrors so be bought them and gave them to me... and in all honesty that wasn't a bad turnout haha

After trying to install them the screws were beyond to long, so I took the screws out of my factory mirrors and put them in the new tow mirrors and nd it all worked out perfectly!

I'll post some pics when my phone decides to act properly!

I like them alot they shake a little bit like any others would but my sub makes it shake always so it isn't that big of a deal for me. And the only thing is that I'm still not.used to them I keep looking in the old spot for the mirror rather than 2 feet away.

Overall for an aftermarket piece they seem to be a pretty good upgrade

Where did you get them and how much did you pay? Looks like it is about time to upgrade your avatar!

Curious as well where they were bought. Also are you able (if not no big deal) to take a video clip of the shake? I seen on several threads before about aftermarket ones being extremely shakey so they got rid of them and bought OEM and shake was gone. So I am undecided on what to get.

I have OEM Tow mirrors and these really look like mine!

If they are aftermarket, maybe they are a decent copy of the OEM

At first when I got the truck they were pretty shaky, but after loosening and retightening them properly they do not shake anymore.

I agree lol I've been busy and have gotten a lot more done to my truck and still plan on doing more. That was from when I had no lift no retrofits and not tow mirrors

Hopefully next I can finish my custom gauge setup in the radio bezel and then get some American force wheels. Then I'll really have to update haha

In total $188 on ebay by an account that goes by the name of vipmotoz. My theory is I am tight on cash now I want the look I'll buy cheap ones now and when I really re do my truck in the future I'll get the real ones.

I am very pleased with them so far. The driver side is a lot less shakey. I spoke to the guy and he said he is warranty out my passenger one because the passenger one now rattles to the point where it sounds like the glass will fall out. It's very loose on the join where it folds in so you don't get hit by other cars. But he is working with me to figure it out. Other than that in all honesty they are perfect.

On the driver side the only thing that shakes is the glass itself and it isn't even that bad considering I also have my sub kicking and vibrating everything to begin with!

Usually the replicas do look very similar to that actual ones. In terms of the replicas it is more of the quality of the internals that people complain about since they are tightened or put together in the same manner as dodge would
