Let me throw this out for something to think about.
The 03 fuel pump is regulated to 48psi and the 04+ are set to 58psi. Wouldn't this indicate the 03 injector operating at the lower pressure need to be bigger than the 04+ injectors operating at the higher pressure?

Is there a way to physicly test injector output? Is the specs? Is there a different part # between 03 and 04+?

I did have a test rig I could drive the injectors. I have it off the truck now. But could set it up on a bench I suppose. Easier to just check part numbers I suppose. I'll see what I can find.
Thanks,

Edit: The part numbers are different from 03 to 04. 04 and 05 are the same. So this would indicate the 03 injectors may well flow more then the newer injectors since they are rated at a lower pressure. Interesting.....
