Have a 2002 Ram 1500 with 4.7....Dropped a valve. Found a donor engine from a 2003 Ram 1500 with 4.7.
Installed but now backfiring and not running correct.
The crankshaft has different amount of teeth on the thing.
I do not know how to explain...but on the crank their is a toothed wheel...and the 2002...2003 are different.
If I put the 2003 Computer in it, from the donor truck...do you think it will solve the problem.... Thanks
