can i paint this????

Been doin some dressing up under the hood. Other than staying away from obvious areas is there any reason i cant paint or plasti dip my distributor cap? It grey and i aint feelin it . What about plug wires? My brother painted his and so far no problems. Bad idea?

You could paint them, or get colored plug wires...

You can pretty much paint anything you want under the hood, just have to prep it right so it doesn't come off, I haven't ever heard of painting plug wires, but I guess you could?
