Scenario:
Saturday, I took my truck in to get emissions. The shop called me later to tell me that my truck was registering a code that they didn't know what it was (he called it a ghost code and was planning on calling the county to find out how to resolve).
Monday, now apparently he is getting no readings from my truck at all. When he tried to get readings "via the back door" (whatever that means), he said that everything is stopping at the ECM, so it must be bad.
Note: My truck runs fine. No check engine light, no sputtering, no performance issues... Could my ECM be bad?
Help!
