so when I get the money i'm planning on doing a few performance upgrades, the setup i'm thinkin of doing is..

Edje Juice/ with attitude
either AFE stage 2 cold air intake or AEM Brute Force HD intake
AFE blade runner intake manifold.

also don't know if I should add a trans cooler or not, so any advice would be appreciated.

The best place for you to look and see what the cummins guys are doing is on their forum, sorry I mentioned another forum.

well I'm wanting one with a moniter on it so I don't have to spend hundreds on pillar gauges. so I just don't know which to go with the main 3 seem to be edge, bully dog, and the banks six gun.

Can't guarantee ya if it works on your truck it not even though it's supposed
Won't work on my girlfriends 05 with a manual trans, my buddies 03 with a manual trans but works great on another friends 06 with a manual trans

You can use the cts monitor with the smarty too, or a watchdog

get a smarty over the edge tuner. but get an edge insight for gauges. what I did and am very happy and saved money compared to pillar gauges and monitors more.

ha i'm trying not to add to much power so I don't have to upgrade my trans, but i'm sure before its all said and done I will be upgrading it.

Trust me...I told my self just a little upgrade and I'll be done....$9000 in performance upgrades later I'm still going lol diesel is addicting

well right now the only thing keepig me at few performance upgrades is worrying about my trans but if i ever get that built up it will be on from there!

auto trans? Even the highest and mid level settings from most tuners is too much for a long lasting auto trans. Ask my 48RE....

yeah its an auto I searched for a standard, but they were all priced way to high! so I know my trans will go out eventually, I just don't have the money to build it unfortunately!

I'm good at saving just the truck payment has set me back for awhile before I can get some more money stock piled, I wouldn't even know where to start with building up the trans though.
