I have Dodge ram 1500 Quad cab with a 5.7 Hemi 4x4 and would like to know the best fitment, for a set of headers. Shorties or full length which ever will give me the best horse power, torgue, sound and overall gain. I have a BullyDog GT tuner on now as well as a AEM cold air intake and will eventually be putting on custom 3" exhaust after i install the headers...if i can get a little help. Oh yeah, will definately be ceramic coated...

Welcome to RF. Your open to go any way you want to on this, I just installed Pacesetter CC Longtubes on my truck along with their 3" OFY pipe. If your in calfornia ya might have to get smog approved headers or shorties.

Pacesetter Longtubes FTW! Only problem I had with mine, was I notched a tiny peice out of the tranny (like a tab that stuck out) so it wouldn't scratch the headers. Easy!

Also: get some stage 8 locking header bolts so they don't reverse out or cause leaks!

Also get a set of Mopar gaskets no matter what ya end up with. I used grade 8 bolts with locking washers per Weedahoe and havent loosened yet on me or him.

Jk

I personally like the sound of short tubes, grungy and deep, but I forget the name. It's a weird name, I'll look it up
