Ok i am getting ready to redo my exhaust and need some advice. I was thinking of doing a dual setup with 2 high flow cats, an x-pipe, and 2 18" glasspacks. My question is would this be a good setup? Would it be to loud? maybe longer glasspacks? Also would i lose and power with this setup? What high flow cats and what x-pipe should i use?

these where the cats and xpipe i was thinking of.
Amazon.com: Magna Flow 94300 Series Universal Catalytic Converters (High-Flow, Oval) Cat 2 1/2 Inch IN/OUT Cat 2 1/2 Inch IN/OUT: Automotive
Magnaflow Tru-X Pipes

I am also in need of some tires but dont really like the wheels i have now and was thinking of getting the crager soft 8 in black 17x9. What i need to know is do i have to have and special backspacing or offset? If so how do i find out what i need? My truck in lifted with 35x12.50x17 tires now and that is what i will go back with.

could always paint the rims you have black, or have them powder coated. but if you don't and you wanna get ride of em........i might know somebody that would take em off your hands =0). i'm havin the same issues with exhaust right now. not sure what's the best way to do it.

i thought about powdercoating them but i talk to the guy that owns the powdercoating shop on harrington and he said it would be like 150 a rim and i can get 4 black soft 8's for like 350 shipped from jegs. the backspacing on them i 5 but not sure if that will work.

On the lighter side of thing i got my jimmi jammers in the mail today. i got them from the group buy over on dt.

I'm a little **** about changes on my truck and go step by step to evaluate each change if I can. I'm still in the process of working on the exhaust. My 03 has only one cat and I replaced the OEM cat with the Magnaflow "Hyflow" cat and my truck slowed by a couple of tenths during 0-60 mph runs. Nothing else was changed so that tells me the OEM cat on a 03 flows better than the Magnaflow Cat. I'm about to installl LT's and have dual OEM cats going on along with the headers. Good luck....
