Running sc 3950 with 10% tm and my custom shift schedule I made during beta testing. Pretty agressive shift schedule if anyone is looking for a schedule for their sc.

that tm % made my truck shift so much better....i can't wait to break these gears in and upload this schedule i got now that i understand it.....

How does it shift for you with 0% tm? When I tried that setting I found the shifts actually got slower.

hell the factory was like 70% if i remember right....remember i had that terrible 1-2 lag well its gone....no more bs just **** and get...well not really right now with bad bearings and ****** gears....compared to what ill have wed....

it shifts better than it was with full TM, especially at WOT, but i dont really have a choice for partial. its either all or none. i chose none.

studies show something like 18% TM is perfect

When we were doing beta for the sc trans control it seemed like most guys got their best results with tm between 8-12%. I found anything above that to still be a little soft and anything less to actually slow down the shift a little. Not really sure why bc you would think that 0% would give the best performance but for some reasonnit doesn't.

Ok I get the shift schedule, I get the rev limiter. What i don't get, is wtf is a "tm" %. Also the 93 ntune, means your engine is tuned too 93 octane? Sorry for the ********ness of the post. I just don't know.

diablo only has 93 tune and yes that means 93 octane or higher

tm- torque management and u can adjust that with superchips

Cool , Thanks bullitt! I thought so on the octane, but was clueless on the torque management.

Using a mod 93 DSP tune. My 03 also has the TMR mod and it shift good with a stock TC. With a higher stall TC softens the shifts. I'm going to mod my VB to get firmer shifts (maybe harsh by some standards) that would not be acceptable using a stock converter. This will be interesting. As a added note, I think the SC3865 which I ran until recently was a better all around tuner for most of the trucks that are 04 and newer.
