With a 4.7 the pcv valve goes into where you fill the engine with oil and there is always white gunk - oil and condensation. Is there any ways around this? Or aftermarket fixes? I know it is not coolant.

If you make a lot of short trips, the engine doesn't get hot enough to burn off condensation. Try a longer trip and make the engine work a little, then check.

Try cleaning it out real good and see if it comes back. Condensation is normal
In the winter. I wipe out the little drops of water underneath my oil cap every time i check the oil so the white slime never even has a chance to form!
