I am very busy, so I use drive through car washes. They have to remove the antenna before truck enters. Then I have to put it back on. Hassle.
Thinking of going old school and getting a power antenna.
Or maybe a small "Bullet" design. The issue with this is reception range. I travel between 3 major cities and need the range of a good antenna. I do use Sat too though.
Or maybe a "window based antenna". It sticks to the inside of the windshield. Not sure on quality of this type though..
Or maybe a shark-fin type. I have seen shark-fin ones, like the original satellite / GPS one on the roof. They make ones that do AM/FM, GPS and satellite.
Who has swapped the original antenna?
