Looking at getting some new door speakers. I was curious who is running what and what their options are.

JBL?
Kicker?
Kenwood?
Focal?
Pioneer?

Need some guidance
Thanks [emoji1303]

I'm a real fan of Hertz 2-way or 3-way component setups.

I replaced all my door and dash speakers with JBLs. Nice difference in sound output.

X2 I just put JBL 6x9s in the front doors of my cc. Big improvement over stock 3.5 dash is next, I'll stick with JBL.

What is needed to put 6x9's in the doors and 3.5's in the dash? Would rather do this than add a sub. I like my storage :)

Speakers lol. They will bolt right in. Magnet depth is key on the doors though so they don't interfere with the window. Dash speaker just pop the cover off and remove the two mount bolts and install your new speakers

For every response, you are most likely going to get a different opinion, speakers are a very personal choice that should be decided by your own ear by visiting some local audio shops or even big box store.

What are your future plans? Are you going to amp them or do you just want a direct replacement for a little better sound? If you do not plan to amp, go for a direct size replacement so you maintain the bass. If you plan to amp down the road and add a sub, components up front would be real nice but once again, go to a local store and listen and find what sounds best to you.

As mentioned, speaker depth is a concern but do know that spacers can be added behind the speakers to give you a little extra depth.

Bought the Polks 6.5 in all doors and kicker in dash speakers. Think I will disconnect the dash speakers. Make sure you have high sensitivity speakers if you are using the stock head. Made a improvemt is "sound quality".

You'll need a adapter harness to plug and play. Buy the speakers on Crutchfield and the harness is free.

I'm a big fan of the Kicker upgrade. They are made specifically for Ram trucks.
