I've got a 16 model ram 1500 I've been rebuilding from an accident. I've noticed a humming sound from the radio area when I open the door. Is this normal?

It doesn't run the battery down, so I guess it's not hurting anything.

I think its the vacuum operated HVAC stuff moving. Mine does it too.

There is no vacuum operated HVAC stuff under the dash. All the damper/door actuators are electronic.
I think I remember reading they go through a reset to zero, but is odd that it happens every time you open a door.

Mine just does it at random times? Not when doors are opened. Noise is behind my radio area. Buzzes for a sec or two lol...no idea what it is? Isn’t hurting anything, just curious? Lol gremlins?? Hahaha
