I have the base model audio with the 8.4 display. I want to change the dash speakers and add a center speaker. Does anyone sell 3 dash speakers? I dont want to buy 4 or just replace 2.

There is a Mopar kicker upgrade kit with 3 dash speakers & 2 6x9's. Not sure if there's wiring for the center speaker on the base 8.4 radio trucks (vs with the Alpine amp).

How are you going to wire the new center speaker? You would need some type of processor to get a real center channel signal.

If you're going to do that, wouldn't it be better to tap into both? + from one and - from the other? Wouldn't that give a more centralized sound for the center?
That would ruin your stereo image. You would basically have two lefts or rights.
I guess if you were going to do it anyway, you'd want to tap into the right dash speaker. At least that way the driver's seat would still get a normal left/right stereo mix. The passenger, however, would be getting all right side.
Of course, if all you listen to is talk radio or podcasts then it wouldn't really matter.

Some podcasts I listen to are in stereo 
I'd be worried about that causing some weird electrical loop or something. Not sure how the head unit amp would deal with that.

I wonder if those Kicker 3.5's are 8ohm? If they are 4ohm, they are going to be overpowering the rest of the system.
Is it just the Alpine system that is 3 ohm? I put 4 ohm Hertz in my dash.

The Alpine is a different animal.
I have the 6 speaker setup and the doors are 4ohm and the dash speakers are 8ohm. There is no center channel speaker.

The dash speakers in the base audio system are crossed over using a 2.2uf capacitor(right on the OEM speaker). If you replace it with a 4ohm speaker, your head unit has a 2ohm load for the fronts.

You cant just add a speaker, you will need something to help with that load. The base 6 speakers are setup a certain way to keep the dash from over powering the doors. Im adding a center but Im also adding an 8 channel processor.
A good set of speakers in the dash can change the image in either direction good or bad. The wrong impedance will mess up the 6x9s in the doors real bad and you will lose a huge amount of low end.
This is not a great place to do it wrong.

When i looked at the rear door kicker speakers it says front door. I have ra3 radio with 6 speakers, so I would get both kits, the two 3.t with 2 6x9 for front, then the 6x9's for rear door, just to confir. Rear doors are also 6x9, and not 6.5 round?

Get the 77KICK28AB for the fronts and the 77KICK41 for the rears
If you run the 77KICK42 up front, when turning the volume up, the head unit can overload and shut down.
