I would say about 80% of the time I try to voice text in my 2016 Laramie I get this message. Then I can only send a premade text from a list. My phone is the same phone I had with my 2015 Challenger and it worked 100% of the time. Both are the Alpine system. Any ideas?

We shall see. Like I said, it hasn't worked very often. If this doesn't fix it, I sure won't be renewing the service when it runs out in September

Make sure you are running the latest uconnect software. Go to the uconnect website and there is a place to enter your vin to see if there are any updates for your truck.

I understand your frustration but it can and does work.

I'm up to date. This has been an issue since I bought the truck new. Dealership had no idea what is wrong at all. They tried to help, but couldn't. I just emailed Chrysler about it. Maybe they can help

Ahh ok. Chrysler might refer you to uconnect access. This is the number I got for them through ramcares 855-792-4241. Wouldn't hurt to call them and let them troubleshoot.

I did see there was an update available for my truck. Same version as what I had installed though. I ran it anyway. Figured it couldn't hurt. I'll try it out when I go to town in a little bit. Don't have very high hopes though lol
