Front Camera/sensor ?

Has anyone here installed the front sensors or a front camera ? I know I read about them on site but so far search brings up only rear camera ! I ahve a 2015 1500 4x4 and seeing over the hood when parking is not great lol. I am also thinking of a GPS with camera option, I know GARMIN make some so simple but I am **** and thinking sensors :O

You can buy the sensors and wiring harness, then you would need the switch in the radio stack for turning on/off, and then one would assume the computer will need to be modified by dealer. Not saying it cannot be done, but a camera would probably be easier/cheaper via lockpick

NP, I am in the same boat, I have the sensors, but would prefer the camera. Camera/lockpick are on my list

You can also add a front Ram emblem camera with the RAx Jailbreak from CustomTronix and either a cargo cam or video/mirroring input ...

Also be sure to check out the LockPick Air v2.
It includes extra camera inputs (sides/mirrors) as well as Android phone mirroring built in. Another benefit is that it is completely independent of the radio and it's software version.

The RAx Jailbreak requires no actual extra hardware (it's a software mod/unlock) but is specific to the radio's year/PN and current SW version. To upgrade the radio's software, you must first run the RAx Uninstaller, reset the radio, upgrade it's SW with the version from Mopar, and then install a new RAx release that corresponds to the new sw (free updates).

The PAC Device listed in my sig can handle this for you. Best interface for adding cameras IMO. You can also engage it manually using the steering wheel controls.

Can't see a signature with Tapatalk unless you manually add it within the app's settings.
