Front door speaker mounting depth

What is the mounting depth for speakers in the front door? Is it possible to squeeze a speaker with a 3" mounting depth in there?

I don't remember the exacts but I think people were saying 3.25" is the largest that can be put in without a speaker bracket. Prolly just have to do a quick search.

I removed the factory 6x9s a while ago but don't remember them having a shorter depth than 3" if that helps.

3.25 inches you 3 inch will fit without an adapter as long as your cage is not too big you may have to trim a piece of plastic at the bottom of the opening
