I looked around a bit and didn't see anything related to this. I know the horns on my truck (2006 1500) are not fused individually. They are tied into some other systems as well. What I'm wondering is has anyone here replaced the factory horns using the factory wiring for an aftermarket set? Specifically I want to install Hella Supertones in place of factory and on the factory wiring.

I've done this in the past on a Subaru and a Jeep, both worked fine but both had separate fuses for the horns with a minimum of 10v. I'm assuming it would be fine on the 1500 as well but figured I'd see if anyone had tried.
