traction control

I cant turn off the traction control every time i press the button it doesnt turn it off what could it be? It doesn't even turn the lil light on the cluster.

is the button connected in the back? did they take it apart when they painted your truck?

its connected, they didnt take anything apart from the inside.

Check the fuses. Maybe one let go.

may be a dumb question, but are you at a complete stop when you push the button? mine only will when at a stop and off the throttle.

speaking of the traction control button, anyone know a work around for disabling on the 2wd without a tuner? i find that on the 4wd turning off traction control completely shuts it off, but on the 2wd it only reduces it. dealership says theres no way to shut it off without a tuner..
