I recently took my truck in to the shop, to check up on the steering. The mechanic found that the ball joint is in bad shape. How hard is it to change a ball joint? it's the driver side front, bottom, left. Getting the part is no issue, I'm just wondering if it can be done in the driveway or if a shop needs to do it.
