Some really DIRTY pics

Had a pretty "dirty" weekend... I haven't ever been stuck this bad before. My son was in town for the weekend & decided to go on a coyote hunt in his grandpas stock half ton 4x4. He decided to head for home when the worst rain storm this area has seen in years parked on top of them. This is my '01 1500 in its usual condition-

Here it is an hour into the rescue attempt...

Knew we were in trouble, The only smart thing I did that night was let people know where we were headed incase we didn't make it back.

My brother showed up just to give us a ride back to town after we had enough for one night. We started walking to meet him, knowing he couldn't get within half mile of where we were stuck... and found him like this-

My brother grenaded his front diff... broke the housing, both CV shafts, parts are probably STILL falling from the sky. After another hour one of my friends makes it close enough to my brothers Chevy to pull it back to the road.

After 2 full days with the Handyman, 8k winch, 12k winch, 2 lifted Powerstrokes, a Bronco, Yukon, 800' of straps, and a great big tractor & a bobcat every one was out... and then the damage became evident-

All said & done, I blew the front seal on transmission, cracked transfer case & blew main alternator fuse... My Brother's front differential ... My Son's Steering knuckle, ball joints, axle, and tie rods, and possibly bent frame on one of the Fords from yankin on it with the tractor it was a pretty great weekend!

ball joints hub and axle... not sure what came apart first. I will post more pics of the damage soon as I can get them in the shop.
