spongy clutch

I've had my 99 ram 1500[3.9l] about two monthes,and the clutch pedal bas become soft,spongy.....clutch doesn't seem to be grabbing as well,what could be the problem?? any help appreciated...thanks,Leo

Check the clutch ***** cylinder for leakage, a bad or leaking clutch ***** will result in a spongy pedal and poor clutch operation. If you pump the pedal vigorously several times, does it feel firmer and/or grab better? A bad clutch master cylinder can also give those symptoms.
