They definitely feel kinda cheap, but with some upgraded bulbs they are pretty nice and look great.

Mine feel kinda cheap too. Especially after I pulled out those heavy AF stock ones.

Interesting, so those inside ones are regular reflectors and the outsides are the low/projector ones.

Did you have to do any cutting on the fender behind the headlights to get them to fit like you do if you use sport lights?

Been awhile since I've checked in. Last week i drove a cumulative 2300 miles down to Galveston Texas for the wedding of our very own DodgeDude94. Truck drove wonderfully the whole way down and back until i hit Nebraska coming back. Pretty hilly and very windy and OD did not like it. Got hot. Burned the fluid but made it back. Went ahead and changed it today and added a new product i found. XtremeGreen additive. Do not follow my lead, lol I'm playing around and experimenting with my junk trans.

Does your's not have a trans cooler or do these transmission just get that hot?

Edit: well crap. I actually meant to copy this and edit my other post to add it in.

No. And they do scrape the frame with the coils do ill need to do something about that

:superhack:

JK I wouldn't. :)

Yeah, the projectors are low beams. And no modification was needed and it fits pretty well.

I have 2 lol. Had a factory one in front of the rad (not all that rare actually) but it began leaking 2 years after being in a wreck. Currently running 2 Hayden RV coolers but my trans is very very worn. Lacks lockup. I've been putting bandages on this thing for a few years. Holding up barely. Have a built one in storage waiting

Lookin for an older cummins for a restoration project. I want something that can haul a bigger trailer for my four wheelers and such.
Here's a pic of my current "project". Wasn't meant to be a project but the frame is bent.

Right before i left i had the alignment shop do some front end work and put my new rear shocks. Monroe load leveling coilovers. Got back and i replaced the fronts with Bilstein 4600s. Rides so much better now.

Mix of pics.

Merc If I was up there I'd help out.

My House is looking like Tow Ville.

On Monday night my gmc tow truck stalled in Spring Branch, with a 3rd gen dodge on the back. Had my grandparents bring my lowered dodge to try to help out at 1am. I hooked up a tow strap to my hitch on the dodge and front bumper of the Gmc wrecker which I call Faith. my grandpa started pulling me to the side of the road and I put her in 3rd and let the clutch out, started up again, got the 3rd gen off the wheel lift, and drove home.

my lowered ram mustve pulled about 12,000lb at least I was very impressed.

Turns out Faith was low on oil (really really low) and it stalled and wouldnt start back up, runs great again now.

Swapped in my NGK spark plugs as per Ryan's recommendation. Even entertained my OCD side by torquing them with my new inch/lb torque wrench. We'll have to see if there's any difference in driving with these vs the Champion RC12YC that I was running.

I also noticed a pinhole leak in my Cherry Bomb. Dammit, didn't even get a year out of this. It's got a leak in the weld in pretty much the exact same spot that my old Turbo Thrush did. Pops says the engine's running rich but my spark plugs were all damn near perfect in color. Maybe don't buy a $30 muffler?

Bought the add leaf for the flatbed just now $330 shipped, I hope they are worth it.

In other news, my tow truck faith, is not starting. It will pop start (manual, roll and throw in gear) but wont crank. This is the 3rd time it has done this to me. Usually works itself out after I get her started again, not this time. first time was on the highway it stalled and did this then started 25 mins later, second time was far away in spring branch with a ram 3rd gen on back, had to be pulled by my lowered ram to pop start. today i moved it out of driveway, and wouldnt start to put it back in, popped it, and put in driveway now still wont turn over or crank or click anything.

Seems to me like maybe no power to starter? I know wrong forum to ask about this truck but still.

Last night I threw on a flotech raptor muffler we had laying around. The stock one had just started to rot through and it was time to go. Thought about just straight piping it but wasn't a fan of the sound, much better with the flotech on. Also waiting for a weekend with a lot of time to throw on my add a leaf that came in the mail yesterday.

The other day i wired in the fogs that came with my 4th gen bumper. Very happy with them so far. Was saving them to retrofit them with projectors but since I've gone back to halogens they are going to stay halogen too. Here's the pattern

Projectors just didn't do it for you? lol

Edit: While I didn't do it today I'm sure I'll forget to update this tomorrow. Tomorrow after work I'll be yanking my Pitman Arm and replacing that to eliminate play in my steering. Almost a good 1/16-1/8th play to the right in my steering wheel.

Edit 2: 4/28/17 didn't happen got off work late. Will fix it sometime this weekend though... hopefully... it's supposed to rain. :/

:roflsquared: i see what you did there. Lol no in all seriousness these aren't as good as the projectors but they're still really good. For the $120 i have in these headlights vs the $1000 or so ive spent on building different sets of projectors, i had to be honest with myself about return on investment. If you want the best do it once and do it right. Otherwise bang for buck wins lol.

Installed a new grille and frame today. Used the insert i had before. Now the damn thing doesn't flop though. I'm happy

Last weekend dropped the oil pan and installed a new gasket--no more leaks anywhere! YEAH!
This weekend finally installed the rear sway bar. WOW, what a dif it made. Understeer gone, now pretty darn neutral, maybe a tiny bit of oversteer, but hey it's a V6, I'm not pushing it THAT much in the corners to have the rear come around on me. HA HA

Where did you find the rear sway bar? Was it expensive?
