figuring out a lift

Ok so I feel like an idiot asking this, but what is the difference between this

Superior 13-1131 2" Universal Lift/Lowering Blocks-Complete Kit-Square U-Bolts:Amazon:Automotive

And the 300 dollar lift kits online? Ran into autozone today and saw it.
Please bear with me, I just bought this truck (my first) about a month ago and honestly know very little about upgrades and mods for it. But I am very eager to learn. Thanks so much.

Those just lift the rear of the truck. They wont do anything for the front.

These are the BEST way to lift your truck...they are lift knuckles. I say they are the best way to do so, because they do not change the geometry of your stock suspension components, but, they are a little pricey. If you do 3 inch lift knuckles, you will prob have to run a set of 1 inch blocks to level the rear with the front, unless you like riding with a little bit of "cali rake" (nose high)

then of course, the least expensive way would be to get spacers. I believe in a different thread I explained to you how to figure what size spacers you would need. But, try to stay under 2.5 inches with the spacers. YOu will prob end up having to get 2 inch spacers or so.

Thanks so much man. Yes you had described spacers to me too. I was just wondering exactly what these things I found would do. I'll most likely just use the spacers, I was just curious to see what these lift blocks were. Thanks.
