I was just wondering if having the 3/4 ton track bar will be helpful with my 37s.. At least so I can wait a minute before investing in an adjustable

Unless you have a track bar drop bracket, you're going to need an adjustable unit anyhow.

And the stock 3/4 ton track bar really isn't much better.

So you should be good in that regard.

But you should still attempt to find an aftermarket track bar. The stocker will work for now, but it if you off road any amount, you'll wear it out much faster than you'd like.

I would not never ever use a factory track bar on any lifted Ram especially with 8 inces of lift and 37's. That's like building a castle with a cardboard gate.

I will be changing it out for a 4th gen track bar in the near future, I was just simply asking if the 3/4 ton track bar is any better than having the 1/2 ton track bar for my lift and tires

The factory designed bar is a POS no matter what size truck it came from OEM. The tie rod designed end wears quickly enough on stock trucks even if kept greased so running it in an application like yours is futile even with decent bracketry.

I seldom recommend particular brands but this an area where low price and quality don't match. I would check out Danny Gattons stuff at Dodgeoffroad. His track bars aren't cheap but he builds them for setups like yours.

I will have to check him out but I'm really thinking about doing the 4th gen conversion package from TGC it's not a factory 4th gen track bar to my understanding but thanks for your advice

DOR uses a 4th gen style design...but with thick walled DOM tubing and ends tough enough to beat down a T-Rex...or at least a big old croc. :)

The DOR kit is nice but man too much $$$ for me, by the time that got to me it was over $800 no way. So I got the Sj tb kit, installed it yesterday. Idk what all the posts knocking this part is all about (lots on every forum), it's well made fit's as it should, has good bracing and it's not priced out of this world. I have put two short trips on it so far and I am very happy with it. Idk how it will handle snow wheeling but I think it will be fine, time will tell I guess.

How would this truck perform with a three link front end and three link rear end (eliminates the track bar completely)? Match the links up with some Fox 2.5 Rem Res Coilovers with a lift height of 4"? Maybe run Metalcloak Duroflex joints on all connections (frame and axle) to provide best ride possible? Take it a step further and add removable air bags under the bed for when towing decent amounts of weight (say 8k pounds).

Pretty much turning the 5.9L Ram 1500 into a heavy ass Raptor.

You don't want to eliminate the track bar
Current factory suspension is a 4 link plus track bar (5 link) and most three links are 3 links plus track bar
The track bar controls your axles movement left to right

Lets say you converted the truck to run three link and coil overs, how much travel can be obtained? I know on my JKu (Wrangler) the maximum travel is around 15" due to steering and drive shaft angles (without major modification).
