Rear end gearing! PLEASE HELP

Hey new to the site and already reading and learning a lot, I do have a question and hopefully someone can help, I'm in the middle of lifting my 05 ram1500 4x4 it's getting a 6" lift and a 3 inch body lift and I'm running 35x12.50x22 in wheels, won't be hauling much no more then a car trailor and was wondering if I would need to gear my rearend?? Please any info helps, truck will mainly be jus daily driven

Gearing is going to be good especially since your running 35 inch tires with a good amount of lift.

*I would ask the 3rd gen guys and see what they say. :favorites13:

what gears u runnin now? it wouldnt hurt to go 4.56, auto or manual? surprised the 3" BL

It's a automatic, and I believe 3.92s but I'm not a hundred percent sure, I've looked at every sticker on the truck and can not find it anywhere, and yea with the tires being so wide I was told I would have rubbing issues with just the 6 in lift so if there is rubbing I will put the body lift on

35s-4:56. Probably could get away with 4:10s, but you'd be much happier with the higher gears.

4:56 is the way to go. I rebuilt mine. All American bearings with Chrysler gears. I'm running 35/70-17 on mine. I tow a lot and it will still burn the tires if I wanted to.

then go with a 1 or 2 inch body lift
