Hi, I'm new to this but I'm going to give it a try would a general grabber at2 265/70R16 fit my 4x4 1998 dodge ram 1500 ??? I plan on putting a 3inch body lift soon. Would i need to do that first?

Should fit just fine. I ran 265/75/16 on my 98 4x4 for 2 years with no issues. Added a 2.5" Leveling kit and Bumped up to a 285/75/16 and got a little rub at full lock.

Yeah, they will fit without a problem. The stock size on my '99 is 265/75/16 so you should be good. I ran 285's right when I got it, and they never rubbed even at full turn.
