Wasn't sure weather to put this in interior or exterior but the driver side door latch is going bad to the point where it doesn't shut very well at all and I don't want to pay 90 bucks for a replacement. Is there a way to fix it or would it be worth finding one in a junkyard that is in decent condition and using that?

Depends on what part is going bad. Without seeing it I cant say if anything can be repaired. Short of buying one online or from a store, the junkyard is your next best bet. Its pretty straight forward to remove, to make life easy just take the whole latch and handle assemblies. If they connect like Chevys, you're likely to bend or damage something if there is any rust in there, its always nice to have a couple spare parts.
