2005 ram 1500 rear door dont open

hi. I have a 2005 ram 1500 quad cab. the rear driver door won't open from inside or out. I kinda think it's not unlocking all the way. even trying to manually uock it, it's not working either. how can I get the door open to pull the panel to look in the door? or how to fix??

You will need to remove the door panel with the door closed its a pain in the ass but you can do it.

I would ask a locksmith if they think they can get the door open.

Take some tools with you & remove that inner panel once it is opened.
After that you will have access, so you can fiddle with it in your spare time

I would have the Locksmith fix the door, if they have the knowledge, but that is just me.

this is a quad cab rear door, but it is about 10 years newer than yours



although this video is of a mega cab, you may get some ideas
