Might sound like a bit of a noob, but to get your wheels to stick out more, you want negative offset right?

Just remember, the further out your wheel sit, the more load your wheel bearings take.

Lot of Great info on the link below . I believe the second post pretty far down covers all you'll need to know about back spacing and offsets .
Just go up to the top and start there , I know it's 4th gen but the tire info is universal.
