reverse light issue

magnum 5.9l
having some issue with reverse lights...went to change bulb and everywhere i look it calls for an 1157...the only bulb that fits is a 3157 dual filament...very confused here...any input would be appreciated

bump. also having problems with my reverse lights. Seems there is no voltage anymore when i put in a bulb? Anyone knows where to search for the solution?

The 1157 has a 15mm metal bayonet (push/twist) cap, while the 3157 has a plastic wedge (push-in) cap. I think that you need the 3157.
