Cant connect to OBD port

the only thing wrong is that it just started not chargeing right by the idoit gauge

If it's not charging right then that is a whole other problem.

Charging right??? Then were off to the alt and cables. You said the gauge is reading inncorect, is it reading high or low? Whats the alts output?

i was told that the reg /alt is in the computer is that true its not showing like it was now that i got the fuel pump fixed
i never had a problem like this in my life

it charges low at time and then spikes at times?

thats kind of what i am thinking but the alt tested fine i was told its the reg and its in the computer???

Who said that?? The autoparts store or a shop??? I hate to say it but you may have to take it to a stealership so that they can trace the wires and the pcm.

Wow ok. Hmmmmm how new is the battery maybe it has a bad cell?

How did they test the alt? At the posts on the battery on on a bench with an alt load tester?

battery is last summer and the put some kind of a load tester on it
