What is the best way for me to restore the black abs plastic (door and tailgate handles, bumper covers etc) on my 2nd gen ram?

I have used Adams VRT on my handles and wiper cowl. It removed the oxidation and made them black again. It is also beads water like wax does. :)

If you do not need to replace the part and want to make your pieces look like new just apply tire shine on a tire sponge. Its a cheap solution

I'd try some mothers back to black. It might take a few applications of it, but it's some of the better stuff I've used

There's some stuff that comes in a liquid shoe polish type applicator called "Forever Black." It lasts longer than back to black.

I recommend cleaning the plastic first with Adam's All Purpose Cleaner to remove old dressing.

I would follow it up with Adam's Super VRT, Like Assassin recommended. VRT is water repellent, so it won't run down the side of your car in the rain. It also dries to the touch, and gives a low-gloss shein, not that "ethnic" look. It is also a really good conditioner and will prevent your tires and trim from drying out and browning.

Pro Tip: If you're looking for that "ethnic" look, follow up VRT with Adam's Invisible Undercarriage Spray.
