Just wanted to give my review of Dupi-colors new tire shine. I saw a this on an episode of TruckU and it caught my attention. After searching around the web i realized its not available til August 1st online and Autozone will be carrying it sometime this Fall. I did however find it on SummitRacing.com as a pre-order. I received my order on the 19th and applied yesterday so you go:
Step 1 : Degrease and clean Tire (the cleaner the tire = the better the result)
2: Tape off rim for overspray. This product is more like Clearcoat than tire dressing. Overspray was VERY Minimal though and dries completely.
3: One Light Coat, followed by 2 Medium Wet coats. 5 mins between coats and done
Overall my tires look awesome and I finally do not have tire dressing all over the side of my truck. I don't care what the other brands say, I always have some type of dressing on the side of my truck.
I'll keep you guys posted as to longevity of the Tire Shine, i'm kind of curious myself! I spent a total of 1 hour cleaning, taping and applying and this stuff better LAST!
BTW...Paid $6.95 per can and used 1 1/4 cans to cover my 35's.
