Be careful with that DeWalt! It's easy to burn edges with a rotary machine.
If you're unfamiliar with the machine, you may be better off with a random orbital machine such as the Porter Cable 7424.
If you ARE familiar with it, it's a great machine to get rid of major imperfections.
Meguiars, Lake Country and a few others make good pads in different sizes with varying colors representing different levels of paint correction.
You can mix & match different pads & polishes to get what you need done, but ALWAYS try something less abrasive before moving up.
It's better to make multiple passes with a less abrasive pad/polish combo than cut through your clear.

Thanks guys. I'm going to try and buff it today. One more question.... How do I get rid of this? I've tried bug and tar, but it didn't do much. I've tried to scratch it with my fingernail, but it didn't do anything. Anyone know what this stuff is?

^ Merged for ya

What is it exactly? Road grime? Try scrubbing the area very well. Maybe claybar might pull some of it off?

I tried the clay bar on it, and it didn't do anything. I'm guessing it's road grime. I'll trying scrubbing it with a bug removal sponge. I'll post an update in a bit.

Magic Eraser is great stuff but it has some abrasive in it. If you use it on your paint you will probably leave some small scratches that will have to be rubbed out with polish.

It's the flat black grime that's on the lower half of my doors. It starts in the wheel wells, and travels about 1 foot towards the rear. I didn't really have time today to try and get it off.
