Hi everyone I'm new to the site. I've had my truck for a year now and absolutely love it. It has the smarty me tune. I keep it on stock power so I won't smoke the clutch. Besides that the only thing I've added is tires, a line x bedliner and UWS toolbox. Within the next year I plan on adding Thuren leveling coils, trac bar and control arms. Anyone else out there?

My girlfriends dad has an 09 2500 with a 6.7L, 6 speed QC shortbed with 3.55s I think
He sold his 05 5.9 to her and went to it. He absolutly hated it while it was stock(pretty much knew he would when he bought it with those options but it was a left over and at one of the dealerships that were shut down while dodge was going through its tough times so he got a hell of a deal) and was thinking about trading it after 8 months. He barely drove its for the first year (which for him is 10k a year) No real problems with it while it was stock minus it didnt have the power/feel of the 5.9
Some how convinced him to do a dpf delete and he loves the truck now. The difference is amazing! He has a H&S mini maxx but would smoke the clutch if taken off of the stock settings. He put a Valair dual disc organic clutch in it and the truck is a monster. People look at me like I'm nuts when I tell them I would take it over the 5.9. The truck spools quicker then any other diesel (including 5.9s with 500+hp) I've driven
Heres how it sits now with right around 80K miles, Mini Maxx, Dual disc clutch, 285/70/17 Dynapro M/Ts

did the 09 2500s keep the 3rd gen body like the 02 2500s kept the 2nd gen body?

I just purchased a mega cab dually with the 6.7 and so far it's great. It's stock and could use some better mileage but I know there are some quick fixes out there for that.
