Haha not really, I got a quote awhile back on one and it wasn't much more than what I pay now...

They are terrible on gas and the new 4th gen Hemis are just as fast if not faster than the automatic qc 05-06 SRT Rams. The regular cab 04-06 6speed SRT Rams are pretty quick.

Auto trannys in the quad cabs aren't the best and people usually have them beefed up. Clutches are known to go out in the regular cabs. The 8.3 V10 is pretty reliable itself but parts are expensive for it and aftermarket parts are really expensive too. I wouldn't want one as a daily driver.

Yea if I bought one my parents would make me get an automatic... Just looking into options and they shouldn't be much worse than my 4.7 lol. That's if I can keep my foot off the pedal lol.... It would be damn awesome to have one of these just not sure it would be worth it

Just found a yellow 05(270 of 500) quad automatic... Has 79k and they want 21,500... Think ima look back into the 4th gens for a second option lol... And for those keeping up with this thread... The truck I'm trying to buy is an 08 quad

The autos get the worst millage. About 8-10mpg. Pretty sure your 4.7 does better than that.

if you were to trade in your truck now you could get a brand new R/T for just a little bit more then a used SRT quad cab and the R/T is quicker just watched an SRT quad cab yesterday run a 14.5 plus the gas mileage is much better

See the only problem witht the rt for me is it's missing 2 doors...while I would love to have one it's just won't be practical for me.... I have been driving my dads sport rcsb with hemi 4x4 and it's just 2 small for me... It's a damn joy to drive don't get me wrong but I need 4 doors with all my expensive ass clubs for golf

Yea I thought about it but was still like no... There are way to many occasions when I needed a back seat and I haul four wheelers and other crap too much to get a cover... Bed rug could still happen though.... I may not completely mark the rt of my list though

In my opinion, the SRT-10s are badass, but only in the regular cabs... I just don't have the money to fix things that may break, maintain, and mod those suckers being as everything is EXPENSIVE for them lol

But for that price, I'd actually go after a Cummins
