Anyone running 315/70/17's? I just picked up a 2017 PW this weekend and I have a set of wrangler duratracs I was able to keep off my recently departed Jeep and was curious if anyone has ran a set of those on their PW.

Sounds like going to 34's/35's I wouldn't need to re gear till going up to 37's which I wont since it probably wouldn't fit in the work garage at that point. My jeep was a 15 with 4.56 but that penestar needed all help it could get pushing that brick around :roflsquared:

Thanks!!!

Mines not a PW but I am running that tire with a 3 in level kit. 3 inch springs front and 1 inch in rearf6f1f9b9424080438973249f83552e8a.jpg

You won't notice much difference with 35's. It will start feeling a little sluggish with 37's. That's second hand knowledge. I'm still wearing out the stock 33's on my 2015 at 38.5k miles.

Thanks guys.

Sounds like the consensus is 35's and 4.10s on these trucks is A-ok unlike with my jeep where I had to re-gear immediately.

Does anyone know the backspacing/offset of the 2017 stock wheels? I doubt they will work but was curious before trying.

They'll work, lots of guys running stock wheels and 35-12.5 and even 37-12.5 (KO2s anyway) on stock rims.

OEM wheels are 17x8, 6.25" backspace. The problem you might run into is the 8" width. A lot of 35-37" tires specify a minimum wheel width 8.5" or 9". Some shops go by the book, others won't bat an eye at it.

Exactly what I was looking for. The 315 70's have a recommended 8.5 to 10 inch wheel. I may take a front stocker off and have the tire shop throw on the bigger tire and see how it works on the stock wheel. Looking like new wheels would be the better route and eliminate the rubbing chances as well. I don't want any rubbing if you couldn't tell ha!
