I noticed on some of the promo 2017 RAM Power Wagon pictures there's a 4x4 decal on the rear sides of the bed. Is there a reason this didn't make it on production PW models? Is the decal available from Mopar? I like it

Nobody has ever thought about why this 4x4 decal didn't make it to production? Lots of views but no replies

You can probably buy it from any vinyl store. Just measure the space and have one custom cut. Then you'll be unique!

I'm thinking it could be an actual Mopar part. Probably from a previous 4x4 Ram or another model. I'm really thinking about putting it on my truck since there's nothing on the truck that shows it's a 4x4. If its a real Mopar part then it won't be wrong in my eyes. I cringe when I see guys put fake autozone badging on their trucks. Saw a new Silverado today that a guy bought those chrome block letters to spell "Silverado" on the lower tailgate and then he put a "limited edition badge" on the lower right. Looked cheap. I'll only put the 4x4 decals on if they are real Mopar parts. I'm sure a bean counter decided to leave them off the production vehicles. All early promotion photos clearly show the decal on the truck.

It's probably more likely that the marketing department wanted them in the promo materials. They might not even be real decals, just edited into the photos.

I got from the dealer the 4x4 matte black badge and put it on mine but on tailgate right corner. I love the look and is unike in miami lol

Looks like the Jeep 4x4 badge. Mopar part# 68236144AA.
