side steps on a PW

Im ordering a 2016 Laramie pw and was looking to put side steps on it. Has anyone done this? I belive the rocker pannel guards need to be removed. is it an easy job? thanks

I put the factory wheel to wheel steps from my 2014 Cummins on my 2015 pw laramie. I only had to order the hex body nut-serfs. They fit perfectly. I didn't have any rocker panel guards on my 2015 and don't know if there are any on 2016's. Good luck.

I put Amp Research power steps on mine no rocker guards on my 2015.

I have the AMP steps on my 2013 and the work great. I am not a fan of side steps and they take away from the clearance. AMP steps keep the clearance. Not sure how they would holdup if they balanced on a rock but they are very sturdy.
