The opening in the center console was accumulating dust all the time plus I didn't like how it look. I bought a piece of abs plastic 1/8" thick and cut it ( 7-3/8 top 7-3/8 sides and 6-7/8 bottom) to cover the opening I bought a pencil holder which i use as a small trash bin and seat the cover on top. When i have to remove it all i have to do is push the lower left corner and it comes out.
