BlackedOutHemi was a big help to me through this though I think we have different mirrors the concept was similar
once you take the mirrors off your truck lay them down on a bench floor table whatever your heart desires push in on the upper inside corner.
reach in and pull up on the lower outside corner "popping" the mirror off



once off disconnect the wires if you have heated mirrors shown in the circle
then you are left with the mirror shell and motor look to the bottom there are two tabs an upper and a lower on the outside edge of the mirror housing and one upper tap on the inside upper part of the shell unclip the tab pushing down and the back will fall off
