So I'm rebuilding my 46re out of my 01 2500 with a 5.9 v8 4x4. I have an atsg manual along with a fsm and I cannot seem to find under whitch circumstances the number of front clutch piston return springs would vary, my concern is that I am not the first person to have dismantle this trans and I only found 5 and everyone else seems to have 9 ..anyone have any idea?
