After the ****flood........time to make things bigger and better. My dad came out today and we built a few things.
Workbench - 2x4 Basics Workbench Kit, made 8ft wide, 32" deep. MDF upper, lower and mid half shelf. SOLID kit!
Shelves - 2x4 Basics shelf kit (2 kits). 8ft wide on this one too. MDF top....not enthused with that, I should have done 2x4s. Oh well, nothing is going on the top anyway.
Both have a 1/2 in strip of metal epoxy'd to the front (3 on the shelving unit, 1 on the top of the workbench). Magnets will be used to keep orders, well.........in order. Organization is KEY!
Total time to build the two.......considering that we were taking our time - about 3 hours. Enjoyed the time with my dad - we work well together.
It wasn't the cheapest project......by any means, but WELL worth the time, effort and materials.
Ok, enough chitter chatter, here's some pics of where I'll play with YOUR headlights!! :********:
