I'm thinking on throwing in a cummins in that *****. Not sure what valve to use, or what else to use.

Questions:
What gears?
Should I get new suspension for the front?
New trans? What to run?
And finally
Can I still use my 5 lug rims or do I have to convert that too?

Not feeling the hemi idea anymore

Since you have a V6 truck...is there any difference in the frame from a V6 to V8 frame?

Yup, at least stock ones. Im not sure what all you would have to do, but I would at least try and get some kind of beefier set up in there

just searching google, the 5.9 is around 1020 lbs and a hemi is around 485. So the 3.7 is probably around 350???

I still say you're gonna have to reinforce your frame...I don't think any Ram 1/2 ton truck frame is fully boxed...and the 3/4-1 tons frames are...

At any rate, it would be something to look at...you dont wanna be twisting frames with all the TQ a cummins makes.

True. This place right beside our new warehouse does all of these. And the place next to them is a trans place.

IT is easier and cheeper to buy an different truck with a cummins in it than to do a swap, we have tons of posts questioning swaps on here and most come up as it is a lot cheeper to buy a different truck.

I mean my truck only has 40k miles. Trucks that I find that have that much go for $30k, and I can look at the carfax. Other places don't show me that, but cheaper trucks

Uhhhhh....I didn't think the newer Ram's had front coils...? You may have to SAS it because the 2500 Cummins has a solid axle. But I could be mistaken.
