Nice seeing SC is working on new projects for the rams... Im looking to get a new tuner, 3815 is good for me but I want something better. Is there still a buy back opportunity? I saw something on another site sometime ago.

Yes, the buy back program is still in effect. Give customer service a call for more details at 888-227-2447.

Does the superchips let you raise your idle? This is the main reason i bought a diablo because it only looked like the superchip would let you raise the idle only when it was plugged in

I would say give customer service a call. I bet they would be happy to take a competitors product off your hands and give you $$ towards the purchase of a Superchip.

Hey Scott, I haven't done any research on it yet but a thought just came across my head. Is there a live tuner for the gas engines? I know there is one for diesel.

Not sure what you mean by "live tune" but if you have done research on our Diesel apps and have found the answer to that question there then I can say that you will get the same conclusion with the gas apps as they work the exact same way.

All I was meaning was a tune on the fly. Change tunes without having to shut the truck off and restart key turns and all that. I know Diesels have tuners that monitor the computer and you can change power levels. I was just wondering if there was something similar to that for us gassers of the older descent. That's all. It was just a thought that crossed my mind.

I understand now. Sorry about that, everyone has their own way of defining things and I still haven't caught up with all the jargon.

To answer your question, everything we offer requires that the vehicle be off so that we can communicate with the PCM and reflash files. We can't do that while the vehicle is in motion because the PCM is in the process of doing its job regulating the vehicle.

Scott
