I was just wondering about moving the sensor on an 05 hemi. Never messed with it or anything. Dont even know where it is to be honest. Mounting is easy just the sensor is getting me stumped.

Also how well is it on mpg and such?

- thanks
Nick

the IAT plugs right into the silicone tube. there should be a slit cut for that.

you will have to unplug the iat while removing the stock set up. there are 2 wires in loom running that you will unplug then gently pull the sensor out

here is the stock location

the instructions that come with the vararam will show the correct place to mount the iat

here is a link to the pdf with pics

Thanks man. You know anything about the performance/mileage increase? On the site it shows some numbers but i like to hear from actual buyers.

Yea right now im deciding whether or not to get the vararam or a programer. But 3rd strike has the vararam for $100 cheaper then original price and everyone else says get the programer before the air intake

I wouldn't get the programmer first. In fact, I never recommend that. Reason being, when you install a programmer, then go back and install an intake or exhaust or whatever, you have to go back, uninstall the programmer, put it back to stock, then reinstall it so it will learn the intake or mod you just installed. By the way, the member that ordered the Vararam last week, his is already on the way to him. I love my Vararam, and if my truck wasn't so high up in the air, it would be a lot easier to show it off...lol. I gained 2 mpg out of it, but more importantly, I gained a lot of performance out of it...the thing actually pulls air into you tb at 3 mph! What other intake can say that?

In this instance, the intake is the better deal. You wont find it as cheap as this unless he puts it on sale again. Thank you by the way Duane, that was awsome that you did that!!!

Tuners are nice, and they do add a bit of hp/tq even if you dont have all the mods to get the best out of them and they bump up the mpg's and all that good stuff thing is though, you can almost always find them for much cheaper used on the forums or ebay and as long as they are unlocked you are good to go.

I cant wait til mine gets here Im stoked that it shipped so fast and I got it for such a great price.
