I did my set a few months ago - but they use a different (smaller) projector. This set actually uses the same projectors that I use in the headlights. Barely fit too! :D

any headlight can be opened. It REALLY varies by what type of glue they used on it - and honestly - I haven't done a 2nd gen set yet, so I am not sure on what it would take.

Low and slow..........don't want to melt 'em!

That looks cool JJ

where's the fun in that? No - really couldn't run like that. These are going to have a set of 6K 55W Retro-Solutions HIDs in them. You know how your high beams are? EXACTLY the same........just a few feet lower. :D So, the shield is left in - BUT........hook it up to a switch and you have bixenon fogs. Seriously f'n awesome.

Them's pretty shnazzy. :)

:naughty:

Butch - projectors will give a MUCH wider beam. Some may not like projectors in the fogs because of the cutoff though - but........I love mine - they will be swapped to these projectors soon though (output on the micros kinda stink - and one is crooked and driving me nuts, no way to fix it though - these are epoxy'd in!)

You do know I hate you, JJ...

I love you too Henry! :Wedgie:

:birgits_tiredcoffee

Well...........they aren't the cheapest thing around. On items like this (anything where I have parts costs involved) - I don't quote it out on the forums. I don't want the thread to sit for 6 months and a customer gets mad because they see a price and who knows - something might have gone up on pricing.

BUT........yeah, I'll be honest, they aren't cheap. Gotta figure this - you have the same projectors that are used in the headlights, same HID kits. Labor is less on these than the headlights (subject to change). It actually takes me longer to to these than the headlights.

This set got a set of 55W HIDs......and is headed to Canada. Only option that he didn't go for was paint. :D YUP - I can paint these! Picture some stormtrooper fogs! :********:
