Like above if you were going to go in for a new truck would you do anything different at the dealer???? The only thing I would have had them do is lower the rear end roughly 2", other than that they completed all of my listed mods perfectly. Shoot!

I like my truck but found it for a good deal on the lot. If I had to do it over again I would've ordered a truck with 3.92s and lsd. Other than that I got what I wanted. One more thing I may have done was had the dealer replace the tires before I committed to buy. I changed out the SRAs to Cooper ATPs within the first 350 miles and when the service manager saw this when I brought it in for an oil change he said I should've demanded they replace them as condition of the sale. Said they'd have done it. Something to remember.

It's no secret that I don't like my truck, with that being said I would have done a lot differently.

I would have gotten a crew cab with a hemi and 3:92's make it a larime or at least more options.

But most of all I would not have bought from a used car lot that is known for rediculously high selling prices. Example my truck is a 2010 lonestar quad cab with the 4.7 and 3:55's I bought it in April 2014 with 74,000 miles and I (like a fool) financed $23,000.

Would have bought a newer truck with nice interior, this 07 with cloth has to be the cheapest and crappest out of all the trucks I have had.
Drove a 2010 with leather and man the interior on it was very nice.

i would have told my salesman to **** off, right to his face and to find me another one. I ultimately did do this, but in a much more "adult" fashion. I ended up calling their internet sales manager with 3 days left in the month, and asking them if they wanted to sell a $53k truck within the next 48 hours......and if so, than they better get me somebody else to sell me my damn truck.

Possibly this...although I don't tow enough to probably justify it and the improved gas mileage might offset it.

Other than that, I would have added memory seats and heated/cooled rear seats (probably required another level than Sport).

would have held out for more on my srt-10 trade. They give me $15K and turned around and sold it for $19K. But I had it listed for $19K for months and no hits. So - I don't know.
