This was the bracket I was talking about....

From post #91 (picture didn't copy)..I measured below my bumper in that valance that everyone seems to be talking about. It measured at 48". If I were to remove that valance and use the brackets/mounting hardware from post #91, what is the max length light bar I should run? 46"?

I don't want to have a ton of space in between the ends of the light bar and the beginning of the bumper.

Ahhh the great lightbar debate.....all depends man....I always say Amazon and that's because my bar works great and doesn't have any issues. But a higher priced bar will have better output, better build quality and possibly come with a warranty.

Myn is a auxbeam. I ordered it right through auxbeam.com and it works great! If you order it through there website you know it's not a fake knock off auxbeam bar. What I really liked about it was that it had the moisture release valve on the side of it so it shouldn't ever fog up and it's rated for ip67. I've had it for about a little over a month now and I have pressure washed the bar manny times and I have never gotten water in it and still works like it should. 5a42e6ffaf5cbe796a6aa9b7efa1b562.jpg1f206e23430ff1bdebe396472066fb86.jpg

So, I've had some people PMing me about how I did the dual 6" reverse assist lights and the front 36" bar on my Westin Contoured bull bar. Here's what I did:

First up, here are the photo's and information on the dual 6" rear LED install:

I got the rocker switch and 6" LED light bars all off of EBay. Basically, I got two "L" shaped brackets from Lowe's, 2 screws and 2 lock nuts. I had to drill through the frame which was pretty difficult for me. I probably didn't have the correct bits but I was able to get them done. I then mounted the reverse LED's to the "L" brackets.

Now, the wiring. I ran the power and ground up along the from on the drivers side, into the motor area and then through the existing rubber boot that contains all of the wiring going into the cab. It is located behind the battery on the firewall. It's also really close to the steering rod that comes from your steering wheel. Once I got the wiring through there, I grounded the ground and attached the power wire to the toggle. I pulled power from the cigarette lighter to power both these and the 36" bar toggle switch.

Any questions, let me know! Here are some pics for reference:

Now, for the 36" LED light bar.

Everything needed to mount this puppy was in the box. I made sure I got one that came with the wiring harness. These bars usually come with 4 mounts but I only used two which you will see below. I mounted this 36" lightbar to my Westin Contoured Bull Bar.

Here' a link to the exact lightbar I bought:
36" LED Lightbar

Now, this one came with a switch. No problem.... I just cut the switch off and used wire connectors to hook into my toggle switch. The Westin Bull Bar, like i said, has 4 pre drilled mounts. The top of the bar has smaller holes that are sealed with rubber inserts. The bottom of the rail is also pre drilled with bigger holes to get your tools into. Like most lightbar's, the mounting brackets are adjustable allowing them to move left and right until they are tightened down. So, I mounted everything, lined it all up, and then tightened everything down. Here are some pics for reference. Thanks for viewing and hope this helps!
